- Up and to church to see Emily play. They played a sweet tune written by Mr. Rogers for his birthday.
- Watched the Pens lose.
- Emily watched Michigan lose.
- Finally finished the first season of Arrested Development. That was a great show.

- Up late. Showered and headed out the door.
- Quick haircut, then out to my parents’ house to install their multifunction printer. Support for Kodak’s printers on Linux leaves a little something to be desired. Never did get the scan function working right.
- St. Patrick’s Day party at Mike’s house. Drank a bunch of beers I’d never tried before. Unfortunately drank enough of them that I don’t remember any of their names. Also the corned beef was delicious. It’s too bad Emily gave up meat for Lent…

- Bagel Friday at work. Always a good time.
- Work continues on the audio driver. Made some progress, but work continues.
- Lunch at DiBella’s in Market Square. Really tasty subs but the ordering->paying->receiving your food process is pure chaos. Will be returning in any case.
- Another area in which work continues is we’re trying to empty the keg of East End Snow Melt in the kegerator. I fear we bought too much. Each of us did our part as best we could.
- Home. Dinner on the deck with my beautiful wife enjoying the beautiful weather before it turns cold again.
- Watched Titus from Netflix. Wow is that a weird movie.

- Happy St. Patrick’s Day (with the usual caveat)!
- Up and at ’em. To work in my fancy Donegal Gaelic Football jersey.
- Traditional Irish lunch of chicken with broccoli. In my defense, the chicken was probably boiled.
- No fortune in the fortune cookie. This is important. This means something.
- Very productive call with the chip vendor about my audio driver. Turns out I’m on the right track with my current solution. I just need to get it working.
- Met up with some family at the Getaway Cafe in Castle Shannon for St. Patrick’s day festivities. The Corned Beef & Curry Band played and much Guinness was consumed.

- Up surprisingly early. Off to work.
- Bossman bought donuts for the office. Good start to the day.
- No discernible progress on audio driver issue. Less good continuation of the day.
- Home. Ordered Chinese food and finally fixed the damn bathroom sink, though not without incident.
15 March 2011
- Up slightly late, but Emily was kind enough to give me a ride to my bus stop. To work.
- Found out that all the work I did adding GPIO MUXing to my audio driver had no effect. Slightly miffed and now stumped to boot.
- Meanwhile packaging tasks are piling up. Need to just take a day or two and bang those out.
- Went to the final guitar lesson of this set. Played some 12-bar blues and learned about hammer-ons and pull-offs. I’ll probably continue with the next set of lessons.
- Put off fixing the plumbing in the bathroom for tomorrow as we are both pretty tired. Watched some Big Bang Theory instead.

- Up pretty close to a reasonable time. To work.
- Not much accomplished at work today, I’m afraid. Everyone appeared to be in a drunken stupor. I blame Daylight Saving Time.
- Home, ate some Pi Day Pie that Emily made yesterday. Scrum-diddly-umptious. Pumpkin.
- Plumbing project to replace the trap under the bathroom sink went the way of most plumbing projects. Multiple trips to Lowe’s later and we still have to brush our teeth in the kitchen.
13 March 2011
- Up late. I’ll blame the clocks changing for that.
- Great breakfast of pancakes and bacon made lovingly by my wife.
- Played around a bit more with LMDE. I was initially disappointed with how stale some of the packages are (it’s based on Debian Testing) but once I discovered apt pinning all was well.
- Went to a friend’s birthday party and arrived to find she’d just gotten engaged. It must be spring because romance is in the air.
