Moved more files and stuff up to the new office. I feel like I’m building a fort of file cabinets in there.
We walked to Tutti Frutti where we had to get 8 dollars’ worth of frozen yogurt to satisfy the demands of Emily’s Groupon. I believe I sweated out the whole of my yogurt on the walk back.
Watched Gran Torino from Netflix. Really great film. Who knew Clint Eastwood could do such a good grizzled old man? The “get off my lawn” line was delivered perfectly.
Up early; more leftover fruit salad for breakfast. Sadly that was the last of it.
Got some nice concrete tasks to perform at work. Performed them.
Made myself a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch, paired with some of my mother’s broccoli salad. The post-Memorial Day week is good for eating.
Emily made a fancy flatbread pizza with peaches and gorgonzola cheese for dinner. Yum.
We went for a bike ride after dinner. Nothing too epic, just down to Regent Square and back. Stopped at Tutti Frutti and tried to make use of Emily’s Groupon, but it turns out we don’t have a large enough appetite for frozen yogurt to make it worthwhile.
At home, relaxed with some more Mass Effect 2. I seem to be getting re-addicted to this game.
The whole gang took little nephew to the end of Emily’s parents’ driveway where a neighbor has a goat pen. The goats were very friendly and attentive. Young goat and young boy seemed to get on rather well.
Long drive back to Pittsburgh. Stopped at Beef Jerky Unlimited in Dundee, MI to fill a rather lengthy order for myself and several co-workers.
For some reason by the time we got back to Pennsylvania we had started craving ice cream. We briefly searched around Cranberry for a shop but decided to head back to Squirrel Hill and find something there. The first open shop we saw was Tutti Frutti on Forbes Ave. Frozen yogurt rather than ice cream, but still quite tasty.
