Lunch at Zorba’s on Smithfield St. They claim to have invented the “Pittsburgh Salad”. I don’t know if that’s true, but they certainly know how to make one.
Continued wrapping up projects. Can’t reproduce customer’s memory leak problem with our kernel. Asked for their configuration files. Waiting for response.
Sad to see the Penguins’ season end so early, but given what they’ve gone through to get as far as they did I can’t say I’m disappointed in them.
Delved deeper into QT mess. Downside of debugging QT build issues is that QT takes a long time to build. After playing with the build settings it seems that qmlviewer is not built by default in 4.7.1. Have to either update our supported version to 4.7.2 (which I believe does build it) or hack in some steps to build and install the tool on its own.
After work Emily and I went to D’s Six Pax & Dogz in Swissvale to watch the Pens game and discuss an upcoming beer tasting event that Emily is organizing with the previous years’ organizer.
Up early, to work. Glad to see the reduction in bus service didn’t create the Mad Max-esque landscape that was predicted.
Looks like I’m closing in on the audio driver performance issue. Have turned my attention fully to the DMA subsystem. Armed with some suggestions from the vendor I should have this thing nailed very soon.
Tasty sushi lunch at the Original Fish Market. Hadn’t been there before, but will definitely be going back.
Came home and actually sat down to listen to the Pens game for the first time in months. Sad that they had to lose to the Flyers but still amazed thankful at how well they’re doing despite Crosby and Malkin being gone and most of the team banged up like crazy. My chin is preparing for an epic playoff beard.
